1. RV Sewer Hose Kit
You’ll want to invest in a quality sewer hose kit to drain the tanks that includes the collapsible hoses, transparent elbow, adapters, and storage caps.

And since you’re getting sewer hoses, you’ll also need support for those to ensure everything flows smoothly downhill to the sewer and prevents damage to the sewer hoses.
3. Wheel chocks
This is an important safety item to keep your trailer or motorhome in place and prevent your wheels from rolling in the event on uneven terrain or brake failure.
4. Level blocks

5. Water filter
Another surprising fact about campgrounds is how nasty the water can be without a water filter. Water from campgrounds can smell bad and be full of contaminants. 6. Water pressure regulator
RVs aren’t designed to handle water pressure above 100 PSI, even though this is common for city water hookups. Water pressure regulators help by intercepting the incoming water and keeping it at a safe pressure level, which prevents your RV pipes from potentially bursting.
7. Surge protector (50amp)
Power spikes and dips can be common occurrences at campgrounds. A surge protector will help keep electricity steady so that it limits potential damage to items such as appliances and electronics. 8. Power adapters
You’ll need a few different power adapters, the most common being 50amp to 15amp and a 50amp to 30amp. These come in handy when the electrical output is incompatible with the RV or the power plug doesn’t match the receptacle.
9. Basic toolkit
If you’re going to own an RV, then you’d better be prepared to fix things on a regular basis. Driving an RV means your house of wheels is going through an earthquake every time you hit the road so there is bound to be some damage. Get yourself a good toolkit that has all the basics covered so you’re able to quickly fix things around the RV without having to call a handyman for simple fixes.
